Original artwork description:

It is part of the my Birds series. Birds are recurring motifs in my creative life, I have a natural attraction for them. Symbols of freedom, inspirations for the aircraft, who also moved into cities together with us with the advent of the modern age. Different birds have different characters. The cute and wise owl, the smart and mysterious raven, the naughty seagull evoking the infinity of the seas, and the gentle city bark, the pigeon are all a spot of color. Although their facial expressions are not perceived, their movement and posture convey a wide variety of emotions. Looking out of my daughter’s Glasgow window, this view was received, which I really liked with this variety of seagulls.

In recent years, I have used OSB as a basis. By retracting the paint layers, I use the texture of the veneer as part of my compositions to create a unique rustic industrial atmosphere. This is recycled art.
The painting is made with self-made paint, which basically consists of pigments and beeswax. Does not contain oil or other paints.
The procedure itself dates back to antiquity and has been known for thousands of years. Only a few artists around the world work with wax on its own.

The encaustic is equipped with a simple wooden exhibition frame, which harmonizes with the industrial style of the painting and highlights it well. Ready to hang!

This work will be delivered with Care Instructions for my encaustic paintings and a signed certificate of authenticity. Carefully packaged and tracked shipping. I ship this work in cardboard boxes carefully wrapped in bubble foil and protect the painting with cardboard.
