Original artwork description:

Both landscape and colour, and my relationship to both really affect my artwork. So does my frame of mind, and this playful painting, using lots of vibrant, strong hues has been in my studi in various different stages for quite a few months. I have loved working on it without an agenda or idea of how it might look when finished, the suddenly I realied I could not add or subtract any more. As a result, this canvas is thick with paint, and quite textured.

I use top quality Golden acrylics, and spend time layering the canvas with many shades of paint, flicking, using a palette knife, brushes rags and allowing paint to drip down the canvas in order to create a rich textured paint surface.

This 40x40cm canvas is unframed, it has white painted edges and is strung with picture cord ready to hang.
