I have recently created a series of paintings related to the 'beautiful game' of Football, where players are actually team-colour-feathered birds.
I wanted to convey the amusing aspects of this ball game; a ball and a group of friends having fun is the essence.
Of course you need some colours that may inspire some mild sense of belonging and: GOAL!

This is an acrylic and oil painting representing a "Rigogulus Romanus" (Red Roman Oriole).
It's an afternoon game and probably it will be tea-time soon. A scone anyone?
