Full title: Mussell II (gates of the body, gates of the soul)

This developed from the study of the lines and the form of a mussel shell.

As it developed it took on further meaning and depth and reminded me of the line in Walt Whitman's, I Sing the Body Electric,
'Be not ashamed women, your privilege encloses the rest, and is the exit of the rest,
You are the gates of the body, and you are the gates of the soul.'
