Subjects of my paintings are moments: Passing time with looks to changing processes. During a holiday visit to Borkum I saw a concert by the group "Mellow Melange". After I had explained my way of painting, Mrs. Firker was willing to be portrayed by me. In a circular room, I stood before her. She began to play the violin. In the circular room reflected her music from all sides. Music enveloped me. Wonderful!
