The starling is a spectacularly beautiful creature, its iridescent feathers shimmering in the light and its quiet intelligence making it a beguiling sight. Their cooperative and sociable nature within their flocks is truly wondrous to behold, creating majestic aerial murmurations that are a testament to the strong family and emotional bonds that starlings symbolise. If a flock of starlings are called a murmuration, then a solitary bird could be a murmur?

Threads of vibrant hues and undulating fabric enveloping figures are reoccurring motifs in my artwork. I strive to use colour to express the figure's innermost feelings and emotions.

This picture has been painted on the sides so it is ready to hang without needing a frame. A coat of varnish has been applied to protect the paint surface. The work is signed on the front. A catalogued certificate of authenticity is attached to the reverse. The artwork will be carefully packaged and sent fully insured via a tracked courier.
