Original artwork description:
Another Roadside America painting, this is set outside a small town in Texas called Munday. Based around a red/orange - blue/green complementary colour axis I wanted a sunlit foreground set against a threatening thundery sky and is tied in with the general theme of the series, Cold War-era America, the look of America that I saw in all the TV series shown on UK television when I was a child growing up in the 1950s and 1960s.
