Original artwork description:

This surrealist landscape has been painted in deep mulberry and grape colours with accents in the clouds of olive green.  This gives the work a sumptuous feeling of luxury.  The clouds are painted gesturally and are semi-transparent in places.  



The work was created to invoke a quality of relaxation, delight and enjoyment in art - the palette has been yielded from berries and fruits to suggest opulence in nature. The movement of the clouds is not stormlike or too dynamic - it is billowy and slow, emanating from a central point to the base of the work where the colours are at their deepest.  The painting should create a desire in the viewer to feel satiated and enriched.
