Based on the principles of Islamic design, how color and design relate to create tension and movement in the picture plane. I have always tried to increase the hold of a picture on the eye, to make work that does not require explanation but still retains the ability to compel contemplation. Here is one more step along many of these directions.
Mudéjar refers to a hybrid artistic style mixing Arabic Christian and Jewish design styles in southern Spain.
These mono colours appear under the baner of Matisee. More red is not just more red. It´s more red.
