Original artwork description:

The late orange glow of the afternoon plays on the still damp mud of the creeks and boats with the distant houses and mountains brilliantly lit reflecting the sun rays across the landscape. This scene of strong contrasts between the lit and unlit produces very interesting colours and patterns which I quickly noted down in my sketchbook.

On returning to the studio I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.

Muddy Creeks is a framed original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
