This winter I’m lucky to wake up every morning with the view of Mount Fuji from my window. It’s magical, almost unreal with perfect form and colours. And also different every single day.

I painted the mountain at dawn, with gentle peach pink light on the top and turquoise and violet shadows on the foot of the mountain and the town down below. It looked like the mountain was waking up and the town was still sleeping. This moment passed so quickly but remained as my watercolor memory on paper.
