I hope Virginia Woolf wouldn't have minded my using the name of her wonderful character for the title of this painting.
I have rediscovered it and find that it so depicts the fluidity of time and how it slips so easily through our fingers. I for one am at such a different place, both physically and mentally, than I was when I painted it in 2014.
Delicate shades of grey/white make up this lovely oil painting.
