Original artwork description:

Gerda was a delightfully round 5’1” friend of my grandma with a severe Vidal Sassoon haircut. She introduced me to gallery life when I was young enough for it to make a difference. In a rich German accent, she announced that for each room of a gallery:

“You must find one painting you love, one you hate and when your feet get sore you must stop for cake and coffee”.

Since then, galleries, especially the Fitzwilliam feel like home. Like silent movies the Fitzwilliam is a place where visitor’s personalities shine. This series explores the nature of seeing the world unnoticed, watching those who are watching. It celebrates the experience of a gallery goer while also allowing us the luxury of their imagined stories.

• Framed in a wooden frame stained white and comes ready to hang (wired)
• This artwork has a beautiful texture and looks even better in person.
• Highest quality premium oil paints (Michael Harding), mediums and thinners used are as environmentally friendly as possible.
• Cotton canvas wrapped around the wooden stretched frame.
• Each painting is one of a kind.
• Artwork will be sent to you carefully packed in protective packaging using professional guidelines.
