There is something about standing at the edge of the ocean looking out into the vastness to make you think that you are alone, but part of something so much larger.

Clouds moving across the water, reflecting the light onto the moving surface, is all pretty magical.

I try to capture that sense of serenity in the vastness in my paintings- reaching out and reaching in.
