Known for her optically vibrant paintings and distinct visual language Bridget Riley
has been celebrated as one of Britain’s leading artists since the 1960s.
Utilizing geometric shapes she created compelling illusions of spatial depth,
as seen in this work entitled Movement In The Squares my figure is enjoying in a museum.

Although I'm happy with the results, painting this small study was quite a drag.
The checker board kept on dancing before my eyes and I had to take regular breaks
and rub my eyes for a minute. They don't call it Op Art for nothing!
