A handmade black and white linocut, printed in rich black water based ink. Printed on heavyweight Fabriano Rosaspina archival paper that does not age with time. Part of an edition of 25.
The image depicts a Field Mouse found in the English countryside, surrounded by stylised blackberry leaves.
Inspired by the wildlife found in the British countryside and part of a series of wildlife lino prints.
The image derives from an original drawing in my sketchbook.
As with all hand printed artwork, there may be slight variations in tone to the one shown-all part of the beauty of an original print!
