This work is a memory of a trip to the mountains last spring. The Caucasus Mountains and a place called Krasnaya Polyana. Before the 2014 Olympic Games, it was a small village with perfect ecology and nature. Now it is a popular holiday destination in Russia. But it still carries the beauty of wild nature and the incredibly clean mountain air.
I used watercolor and some details were added with pastel. I wanted to show how a cloud fell over the mountain ridge. Bright green represents the color of spring greens and wildflowers.
