Original artwork description:

Walking on the fells is my passion and this particular valley is completely unspoilt. The 360 view across to the surrounding feels is spectacular with the sun glinting off the nearby rocks. I sketched it, made colour notes and photographed the moment. I wanted to capture the play of light which is so fleeting in an oil painting.

On returning to the studio I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.
Mountain Rock Pool is a framed (white grained wood) original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
