Original artwork description:

The textural ridges and colouration of this piece evoked the name, based on a similar, larger painting called 'Beach Rains'. With its combination of the simple colours of nature and white highlighted textures, I can almost smell the fresh air!

My work has an emphasis on texture and I use acrylic paste with palette knives to create a deep, touchable structure which is then coloured with acrylic paint using various techniques with brush and rag.

The colours of this piece continue onto the sides.

This painting is on 100% cotton canvas stretched over a deep (approx 3.7cm) wooden frame and is signed on the front. It does not require additional framing and is shipped with hooks and wire so that it can be hung immediately after unwrapping.

I package all paintings carefully using layers of archival tissue paper, bubble wrap and corrugated card, inside a strong double-walled cardboard carton and am experienced with international shipping.

All paintings are accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
