Impression from New Zealand's long trail Te Araroa.
This is my interpretation of my brother's Pblo photography ( Instagram @pblo28 )
I tried to capture the mood of the moment and place and flow with it while painting. The painting has some impasto and was painted quite quickly and alla prima.

Mount Cook and Lake Pukaki was filmed in "The Hobbit Trilogy".
