Moulin Rouge - Large Oil Painting of Paris _x000D_ 140x140cm_x000D_ _x000D_ I painted a scene from a Paris cafe and I remember staying at Montemarte and imagining a dancer from moulin rouge coming into a cafe on her day off and capturing a glance. Nothing romantic just a glance and she has a mystery about her. This is thick impasto oil paint on canvas_x000D_ _x000D_ This painting comes as a rolled canvas with extra several inches around image for framer to stretch to frame or board. I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
