Hi,
This is a revisit of one of my favourite landscapes in Hampshire.
There is a walk near Mottisfont Abbey which looks up the Test river and is especially beautiful in Summer. It is wonderful to sit there and sketch.
Here I have tried to capture the deep blue stillness and serenity of the water in contrast to the vibrance of the surrounding foliage.
I can't wait to go there again in the spring - watch this space!

The canvas is a conventional thin canvas stretched on a frame. It should be framed before it is hung. If you would like to purchase it, I can get it framed for you at cost or you could use the Artfinder framing service.
