Hi,
This is a landscape depicting the Test river in Hampshire near Mottisfont abbey in Hampshire, England.
There is a wonderful view up the river which is mostly in shade, but further up the trees on the far bank are bathed in sunlight. This creates a beautiful contrast between the deep blue water and warm greens; finishing with a faint purple mist at the far end of the water. You get a great feeling of serenity at Mottisfont , particularly in summer- watch this space for more works in this series,
