Momma by Chrissiefizz

You held me
Confined within you
Safe and secure.

Upon arrival
We came face to face
You were mine
And I Was yours.

Inspired by a best friend's maternity photoshoot, 'Momma' was painted in a trimester (3 months).

As a daughter, aunt, God-mother and granddaughter, I believe that motherhood is sacred. Without women, there would be no future so this painting was particularly important to complete.
