Yirangs’ paintings are based on the stories that she creates from the chaos of im­agery, which she has been gaining from her unknown self and the world that she perceives. The world is full of stories as the smallest grain of sand occu­pies as an important part of the universe and every one of them tells its own unique story.

Yirang appreciates every existence in this world, that has been forgotten or neglected by people and reinterprets their stories from her perspective and documents them as an imagery. Spaces, objects, emotions, everything one can perceive in this universe becomes her inspiration to create art. Sometimes serious, sometimes fun, sometimes heartbreak­ing stories she has collected, they are documented in a figurative imagery with Yirang’s bold and textural visual language.
