Original artwork description:

This 'Mother' is sculpted in lime wood. Its surface is treated with a chalk-glue mixture following an ancient technique - medieval sculptures had been done that way. The base is not fully smooth allowing the possibility to slightly rock the sculpture and I just left it that way as I felt it fits the topic. The sculpture is signed (engraved) on its standing surface and a certificate of authenticity is being provided as well.
