Original artwork description:

Inspired by the early mornings overlooking the flat Caithness flow country moorlands full of small watery peaty pools towards Morven the highest hill in the county and its surrounding hills. Painted in muted ochre and beige colours, I hope to have captured the atmosphere of this wild and dramatic isolated area of the far north of the highlands of Scotland.

Painted with a palette knife and fingers, using quality artists acrylics on a square format 18 3/4" x 18 3/4" (48 x 48cm) lightly textured canvas on board, framed in a modern contemporary square profile white limewash frame, with cord ready to hang.

All paintings are also available as limited edition giclee prints
