I couldn’t possibly begin to comprehend the situation or make any sense of how a series of events could lean on one another to lead to this moment.

She bounced on her tiptoes and ran through the alleyway, the cluttered echos of her feet seemed to applaud as she disappeared into the shadows then reappear into the neon bleached street.

As she spun around a few stands of hair stuck to the corner of her mouth and there it was, it all began in that exact moment as she showed me her huge beaming smile……like sunshine itself.
