We planted a box of bulbs one cold Autumn day (I had no idea how many bulbs I was buying, I was trying to get free shipping. My husband was stunned when they arrived...it was kind of a BIG box, and bulbs are small...so, it was a LOT of bulbs!) Anyway, I waited impatiently all winter for these to bloom! Today Lee was like: wait, you are going to cut them and take them in? Ahem, "flowers to paint" was the whole point. It was worth the wait - it has been a joy to paint them! These tulips are amazing, they have a yellow center and creamy white petals.
