One early Sunday morning I saw this place in Kyoto.
It’s quite typical Japanese urban scene, the mixture of old wooden houses and metal industrial elements such as railways, trains, construction sites.
I was impressed by light and shadow, warm and cold color palette of the place and the moment.
Unremarkable environment at first sight, everything seems just “grayish” when you pass by, but try to stop for a minute and you’ll notice the balance of orange, burnt Siena and ultramarine blue, mixed with bright red and turquoise details.
Original watercolor artwork made with professional watercolors on 100% acid-free cotton paper. Signed front and back.
