This painting was inspired by a visit to the beautiful town of Villerville in Normandy, France.

"I love narrow European streets with cobblestones, beautiful architecture, colorful flowers, and the smell of coffee. All of this creates an intimate atmosphere. I wanted to paint a connection between a mother and a child walking on one of these streets, perhaps on the way to their favorite bakery."
