MORNING MIST OVER THE HILLS is a shot from the series "Tuscany shades" from my collection TUSCANY: LAND OF SOUL.

The photo was taken in the Val d’Orcia region a wide countryside in southern Tuscany, the region where I live.
Its green hills are characterized by a dense vegetation, dotted with vineyards, olive groves, cypresses, beech and chestnut groves, a backdrop of marvelous castles, medieval villages and rural houses.

This shot is a tribute to one of my favorite artists, the German Romantic landscape painter, Caspar David Friedrich.
