Original artwork description:

This Oil Pastel drawing was done “en plein air” just after sunrise in Wu-Shr Harbour, Toucheng, Yilan, Taiwan. It was another overcast morning so there wasn’t a bright sunrise to see even though I was facing east. The morning sun did manage to brighten up the view as it would shine through the gaps in the clouds in bright beams that would illuminate the surface of the water and the morning mist. It is always interesting trying to catch changing weather as it can be very fleeting. This picture was drawn focusing on Turtle Island and watching the fishing boats returning to the harbour with their hard earned catch, as I was drawing this I was also drawing another sunbeams picture as the scene changed (which is still in progress), definitely an extra challenge!
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver to every country at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
