Original artwork description:

On the way to Innsbruck from the higher villages you drive through typical mountain forests of firs, birches and pines. Above the trees, you can see the mountain peaks. Here, in the rising winter sun, it is the strikingly rounded shape of the "Nockspitze" or "Saile", because this mountain has two names - the official one: "Saile" and one "in the local dialect: "the Nockspitze". So let's stick to the second. Like many Tyrolean mountains, the Nockspitze is legendary and it is said that the "weather witches" "cook" the weather here. In fact, I have often observed how thunderstorms brew over this mountain in summer. On this quiet winter morning however, the Nockspitze is peaceful and in the foreground there are the footprints of wild animals that have been running around in the crisp snow.

This unique artwork was painted on high quality watercolour paper using Windsor and Newton paints. It comes mounted in a warm white mount to fit a 30x40cm frame and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
