'Morning Light' was started on a misty morning in the New Forest. I had only been painting for about an hour when the early spring sun started to burn away the mist.
I had to work quickly because the scene was changing fast and before long it was gone. At this point it is as well to stop painting before you loose that special moment.
I completed the painting in my studio and later I made a suitable frame which gives the painting a framed size of 39 x 39 cm.
