Original artwork description:

I came across this flax field between the villages of Philippine and Biervliet on the back roads of Zeeland, Netherlands. The soft lilac-blue of the fields was the only colour in the greyness of the morning. There had been a thunderstorm the night before and the mist and clouds were just starting to clear. It is this softness of colour and the simultaneous freshness of the morning that I have tried to depict in this painting “Morning in the Flax Fields”.

This unique artwork is sold mounted and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
