I am lucky enough to live near by Eno River which runs thru vital city of Durham. I often walk on this trail by the river with my puppy and witness this beauty of nature. This old tree standing tall and dignified even though the parts of tree seems to lost vitality of youth. Fresh green ivy dressing up this old tree for four season and continue to thrive and reminds me of nature's eco system is on ongoing process right before my eyes.
People often asked if these trees that I paint so often are birch trees. I am guessing they are birch trees but how they are different from Colorado birch trees? I don't know that for sure. This painting is painted on Davinci wood board, all sides are painted as the scenery continues. For international collector please contact the artist for shipping details.
