Original artwork description:

Just like the first version, this drawing was started “en plein air” on a very hot and humid summers morning in Fisherman’s Wharf, Tamsui, Taiwan. I enjoy returning to subjects especially when working from life as the weather will always create a different scene. I drew this outside as long as I could take the heat and humidity (which was about 1 1/2 - 2 hours) to get the main details of the picture and then moved inside to finish it through the window. This view will soon be very different when they finish building the bridge over the river, here you can see both sides are in mid-construction as they reach out to meet in the middle of the river.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver to every country at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
