Original artwork description:

Walking on the fells is my passion and this particular valley is completely unspoilt. After several miles walking along the shores of Crummock Water from Buttermere and a little climbing there are spectacular views of Crummock WAter. I sketched it, made colour notes and photographed the moment. I wanted to capture the play of light which is so fleeting in an oil painting.

On returning to the studio I worked on the composition and started to produce the final artwork. It certainly lifts one's mood to see the beauty of light in nature.

Morning Colours Breaking Through Over Crummock Water is a framed original oil painting created and painted by myself. The back of the artwork is signed and you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity.
