An early morning gongoozle by the edge of a canal, a memory from a former life. An original oil painting in the style of impressionism on stretched linen canvas. It comes with an antique Montparnasse wooden frame from around the 1930's.

The canvas is sized 40cm by 30cm (15.7in by 11.8in), by 2cm deep (0.8in).
The frame is 51cm by 41cm (20in by 16.1in), and 7cm deep (2.7in). Canvas and frame together weigh approximately 1.4kg (3lbs).

Materials used:

oil paints (Rembrandt, W&N, Old Holland), Brushes (hogs hair, sable)
