One beautiful summers day I set out to paint the Lourens River but my plans changed as I was captivated by the view across it, the picturesque Morgenster estate with olive groves and vineyards that run to the base of the magestic Hottentots Holland mountains.
The colours of these mountains seem to change everyday, from cool violet greys to the soft pinks of dusk. I can never grow tired of looking at them!
