This atmospheric, modern contemporary abstract impressionist British landscape painting draws inspiration from the dramatic lighting of the upland grouse moorlands across the British Isles, especially the Scottish Highlands, Yorkshire Dales, Pennine Moors, and Border Cheviots. Rendered in impressionistic strokes of muted yellow, grey, and ochre, it seeks to capture the unique ambiance of light playing across the moors and fells.
