A picturesque summer mountain moor scene inspired by the rocky cairns and summits of the hills and glens of Scotland, particularly, the Scottish highlands, Perthshire, and the Angus glens but also the English Pennines and the Dartmoor moorland area of England with their tors and crags. In in this scenic painting I have tried to convey the moody atmosphere of these wild moors and summits of these upland areas of the British countryside in a modern contemporary impressionistic romantic style. Painted in cool blue green and ochre colours with a cloudy sky.

Painted using quality artists paint on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
