Original artwork description:

This is a tall mixed media painting continuing my seascapes theme...This time the moonlight over the water is my inspiration. This painting shows the moonlight just catching the waves and the rocks on the shore, there is an irrisdescence to the rocks in the foreground and I have tried to photograph this in a raking light to show better on screen. I like to try capture the atmosphere and have painted this picture on a vertical scale worked in acrylic inks and mixed media on collaged paper and texture mediums on a tall box canvas.
There is a lot of texture and depth in this painting and I want the viewer to get lost in the moment and feel the same experience that I did when watching the moonlight catch the sea, sky and shore.
The sides of the canvas are painted a blue/black colour to match the front and there is no need to frame, but I could paint them any colour if preferred or the canvas could be framed by the purchaser.
