High moonlit mountains, majestically silent at night, afraid to make a sound in case they break the magic spell. The air is transparent and cold, and only in the deep perspective does its thickness cloud the distant peaks. The very existence of perspective is amazing in an artwork such as this, knitted, as it is, with one slender and unbroken thread. Each line of the delicate twine runs between pairs of the 200 points evenly spaced on the edge of the image’s circular boundary. It connects all its parts, which—one might imagine—would make the work look flat. But it doesn't! One could immerse into endless gazing and being amazed at the ethereal landscape.
