In deepest Derbyshire there is a remote hilltop copse scattered with gnarly old Beech trees. The atmosphere was incredible as the trees were only illuminated by the moonlight. A tripod setup and steady hand were required to capture this darkest of scenes. A very popular print that captures the essence of a cold, dark, misty winter's evening.

This image was awarded the Sheffield PS Annual Exhibition "Rosebowl Trophy" as judged by Ray Spence FRPS.
