Original artwork description:

For the first painting released in the New Year, I’ve chosen to depict a scene from “somewhere on the Riviera”. This precise spot could be on the French Riviera, or the Italian Riviera; as it’s a melange of the scenes you’d find on either… From the exceedingly tall Palm Trees, to the Colorful houses with laundry drying outside the window, or flowers decorating balconies; these are details that characterize this part of the world; and the details that I find so charming. I’ve never before depicted this type of scene under a Night Sky, but it felt right do so this time… Maybe it symbolizes the night of the past year, as we enter a new day; a new year. This canvas is painted around the edges so it can be hung, unframed if preferred.
