Original artwork description:

Some months ago I saw an article about a extraordinary friendship between an owl and a cat. Every night the cat would wait in the same place and after a few minutes the owl would arrive. They used to play together for a while but mostly they just sat enjoying each others company. I thought this story would make an interesting painting.
The sides are painted so no real requirement to frame.
