Continuing with the views from my garden in Burgundy, this charcoal on paper drawing shows the vegetation and clouds lit by a bright moon. The monochrome highlighting the drama of the scene.
Some Paynes Grey pastel has been used in the sky, which gives a light tint only in certain lights.
The paper was covered in gesso before drawing to provide tooth and texture.
Artist signature initials on the front, name on the back.
Sent rolled in a tube with glassine protection sheet.
