This is an abstract-impressionist evocation of a lake illuminated by moonlight at twilight. The many layers of glazed blue paints of differing hues create a depth of colour and add a striking luminosity to the piece. The simple, yet perfectly balanced composition provides the viewer with a peaceful, calming and tranquil place to rest their gaze.

The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness.

The painting is on a fine grain canvas by Belle Arti. It has clean deep white edges with hanging fixings and cord attached. As such, the piece is ready to hang.

The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. It is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

All paintings are unframed unless otherwise stated.
